Great to meet you!

As a psychotherapist with a rich background in anthropology, art, and depth psychology, I am a firm believer in the transformative power of nature, creativity, goal setting, and compassion. These elements are essential in helping individuals achieve the clarity and focus necessary to feel truly centered in their lives. My personal passions as a trail runner, German Shepherd owner, dog trainer, and outdoors enthusiast add a unique dimension to my approach. I find immense joy in assisting people in discovering their own passions and dreams, while also guiding them through the intricate and sometimes challenging aspects of life. Together, we work towards achieving healing and experiencing the profound joy that life has to offer.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I utilize a comprehensive approach that integrates various therapeutic techniques to address the complex needs of my clients. This includes family constellation exercises, which help individuals understand their family dynamics and roles, fostering a deeper sense of connection and clarity. By exploring these dynamics, clients can gain insights into their relationships and work towards healing and growth.

Additionally, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a powerful tool for processing and resolving traumatic memories. EMDR allows clients to confront and work through distressing experiences in a safe and controlled environment, leading to significant emotional relief and improved mental well-being. This method is particularly effective for those dealing with past traumas and helps them move forward with a renewed sense of hope and resilience.

Furthermore, I employ solution-focused therapy and self-psychology methods to empower clients to identify their strengths and resources. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, clients can develop a positive outlook and take proactive steps towards achieving their goals. Self-psychology methods emphasize the importance of self-esteem and self-acceptance, encouraging clients to cultivate a nurturing inner environment that supports their personal development and emotional health. Together, these approaches help clients navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and a sense of choice.

What you can expect from me

In a world constantly shifting and evolving, focus becomes an anchor, grounding us amidst the chaos. It enables clarity, guiding us through life's complexities with a steady hand. When intertwined with hope, it sparks possibilities, encouraging us to dream beyond the constraints of our current reality. Hope nurtures the belief that brighter days lie ahead, inspiring action and resilience even when faced with overwhelming odds.

The journey of finding oneself is both profound and transformative. It requires courage to delve deep, to confront vulnerabilities, and to embrace one's authentic identity. Believing in oneself is the cornerstone of this journey; it fuels personal growth and fosters empowerment. When we acknowledge our worth and capabilities, we break free from self-imposed limitations and unlock our true potential.

Ultimately, trust and belonging weave the fabric of meaningful connections. Trust forms the foundation upon which relationships thrive, while a sense of belonging nurtures our emotional well-being. Together, they create a supportive environment where individuals feel valued and understood. Embracing these elements enriches our lives, cultivating a community where everyone can flourish.
