Isabella Mate

Hello! My name is Isabella Mate and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) whose clinical practice centers on providing comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. I know there is a reason why you are here today and I am ready to hear you and see how we can best find a solution to what has been bothering you. I am dedicated to promoting emotional wellness through compassionate, person-centered care that integrates psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.

My approach emphasizes a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where each patient’s unique experiences, culture, and strengths are recognized and valued. I believe in holistic care that addresses both biological and psychosocial aspects of mental illness, and I often incorporate lifestyle interventions, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented principles into treatment planning.

Our first session is an important step in beginning your mental health journey, and my goal is to make you feel safe, heard, and supported throughout the process. During this initial visit, we will focus on getting to know you—your concerns, your history, and your goals for treatment. We’ll discuss what has brought you in, including any symptoms you’ve been experiencing, how they’re affecting your daily life, and any previous treatment you’ve had.
