Great to meet you!

Are you no longer finding joy in the things you once enjoyed? Are you experiencing worry, low motivation, irritability, difficulty sleeping, or a desire to withdraw from others? Taking the first step toward mental wellness can be difficult, and I welcome you into a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space.

My name is Dr. Ivy Attobra, DNP, PMHNP-BC. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of nursing experience and nearly seven years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I earned my master’s degree from the University of St. Francis and my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University in 2023.

I provide care to children ages six and older, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I specialize in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar and other mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, OCD, stress, and sleep difficulties.

My services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy. I use an individualized, culturally sensitive, holistic, and evidence-based approach to help each patient achieve improved mental health and a more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I take time to listen and involve you in treatment decisions so you feel heard, informed, and confident in your care. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy and culturally sensitive, holistic care.

At Mentis Psychiatric Services, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals ages 6 and older experiencing anxiety,

depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, OCD, and sleep difficulties.

Telehealth appointments are available throughout Arizona and Washington State, with in-person appointments available in Mesa, Arizona. Most major commercial insurance plans are accepted.

What you can expect from me

At your first appointment with Mentis Psychiatric Services, you can expect a calm, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly. We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation by discussing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals.

Together, we will review your diagnosis and discuss treatment options, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle

recommendations, or referrals when appropriate.

You will receive a clear, personalized treatment plan designed around your individual needs. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, supported, and confident about your next steps.
