Below is more information about my background and treatment philosophy:

About My Practice:

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with Supportive Psychotherapy to create a space where patients feel safe, respected, and understood. I focus on building trust, reinforcing strengths, and helping patients navigate challenges in a way that feels practical and empowering.

I use supportive techniques to help patients process stressors, improve coping skills, and stay grounded during difficult periods. Treatment is collaborative, whether we’re adjusting medications or working through emotions and decisions, my goal is to meet you where you are and move forward together at your pace.

There’s no one-size-fits-all path in psychiatry. I take time to understand each patient’s history, needs, and goals so we can create a personalized plan that supports meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

I provide care that integrates evidence-based medication management with Supportive Psychotherapy when it’s helpful, giving patients the flexibility to get what they need out of each visit. For some, that may mean a focused check-in on medication. For others, it can include space to process stress, explore challenges, or build coping strategies.

Supportive Psychotherapy is available when appropriate to talk through what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and how to build on strengths in real time. It can reinforce stability, deepen insight, and make the visit more meaningful when paired with thoughtful medication planning.

Every session is personalized and grounded in respect, clinical insight, and a shared commitment to progress whether we’re adjusting a dose or working through life stressors. My role is to meet you where you are and support you in the way that’s most useful to you.

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect sessions that are focused, supportive, and collaborative. Whether you're looking for straightforward medication management or a bit more space to talk things through, we’ll tailor the visit to meet your needs that day.

I combine evidence-based medication planning with Supportive Psychotherapy when helpful, this might include processing stress, navigating life changes, or building coping strategies. For some, that means a few minutes of check-in alongside meds; for others, more in-depth support. Either way, you’ll leave with a clear plan and a provider who listens, explains, and works with you, not just your diagnosis.
