Great to meet you!

I have worked as a mental health therapist in various settings for the past five years. I have worked with people working on problems related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and PTSD (among other diagnoses). As a therapist, I think I'm unique as I really listen to what clients feel will be most supportive to helpful to them- empowering you to take control of your treatment. I am also very warm and personable so it doesn't feel like work talking to me.

My approach to therapy

I seek to help empower people to feel like they can address their concerns as well as to develop hope and optimism that things can improve. I work with clients to develop interventions they can use in day-to-day life to help them manage anxiety/depression or other difficulties they experience.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be used to introduce myself further and develop rapport. I'll ask some questions about what brought you to therapy to be able to present you with an idea of what our treatment plan and sessions structure will look like.
