Great to meet you!

I have worked with adults in a wide range of settings including inpatient, community mental health, higher ed, corrections, and private practice for over 20 years. The one characteristic everyone shares in common is hope for a better life. I foster hope and empowerment by helping clients find their strength within while learning additional skills through therapy.

My approach to therapy

Everyone's story is unique to them and deserves an individualized approach to care. I take a participatory approach in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, invite you to explore and maybe do some homework, but I will always support your journey.

What you can expect from me

I start with an intake session where you’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you to couseling and what you hope to accomplish. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling safe to practice new skills. We’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
