Great to meet you!

My journey into mental health began with earning my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2006. As a social worker, I developed a strong foundation in understanding the emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact well-being. I later transitioned into nursing in 2011 and ultimately became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). For more than eight years, I have provided psychiatric care to adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

The best mental health care begins with listening. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I provide medication management while also emphasizing healthy lifestyle habits, coping skills, and coordination with your therapist and other healthcare providers to support your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to begin building a therapeutic partnership. I'll take the time to understand what brought you to treatment, explore your symptoms and personal history, and learn about your goals for care. Together, we'll discuss treatment options including medication management when appropriate and develop a plan that fits your unique needs. My goal is to create a supportive, judgement-free environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in your care.
