Great to meet you!

I spent 18 years as a firefighter and EMT, showing up for people at their most vulnerable and helping heal their physical wounds. Now, I bring that same dedication to helping people heal their emotional wounds as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Love Focused Counseling. I've been in the mental health field since 2012 — from residential care to private practice — and I founded my practice on one belief: the most important relationship you'll ever have is the one with yourself. When that relationship is strong and stable, you can show up fully in every other area of your life.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in nervous system regulation, because I believe that's where lasting change begins — and no two nervous systems are alike, which means healing looks different for everyone. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), bilateral tapping, compassion-focused, and trauma-focused approaches, always letting your goals lead the way. Whether you're a first responder carrying the weight of the job, a couple navigating a rough patch, or an individual ready to do deep work — any goal you bring to the session is worth exploring. We find what works for your unique brain, together.

What you can expect from me

Think of our first session as the appetizer — a safe, unhurried space to share your story and get a feel for what working together looks like. I'll ask purposeful questions and listen closely, because I believe a carefully chosen word paints a better picture than a hundred vague ones. You won't leave with a stack of homework, but you will leave with clarity. My goal is for you to walk away from that first session thinking: "There's a safe person who really gets it — and I want to come back."
