Great to meet you!

I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step toward therapy—especially when stigma, fear, or uncertainty get in the way. With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I provide a calm, non-judgmental space where you can begin to process what’s weighing on you at your own pace. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, I’m here to support you in building stability, clarity, and a stronger sense of well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strength-based approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to depression, anxiety, or mood instability, and develop practical tools to help you regain a sense of control and balance. I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering—giving you the insight and skills to create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You can expect a welcoming, respectful environment where your experiences are validated and your goals are prioritized. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll begin outlining a path forward—one that is realistic, personalized, and focused on helping you feel better and function more effectively in your daily life.
