Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jackie Worthington, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC).

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person is unique. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses, I take a whole-person approach, considering the many factors that influence well-being, including emotional, physical, relational, academic, professional, and environmental experiences.

I believe therapy is not about having all the answers—it is about working through them together. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, gain insight, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies that align with their goals and values.

With experience working in both school and community settings, I support individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, burnout, adjustment difficulties, and other factors affecting overall well-being. Together, we work to better understand what is contributing to current challenges and identify meaningful pathways toward growth, balance, and lasting change.

My goal is to help clients feel empowered, capable, and connected to themselves as they move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I take a whole-person approach to counseling, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced by many interconnected factors. Together, we explore challenges, identify strengths, clarify values, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out—you just have to be willing to begin. Together, we work toward helping you feel more clear, steady, and confident in the direction you’re moving.
