Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong background in trauma-informed care, anxiety treatment, and grief work. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and respectful of your lived experience. I understand how past trauma, chronic stress, and life transitions can shape the nervous system and impact daily functioning, even when life looks “okay” on the outside. My role is to meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you make sense of your experiences while building practical tools for healing. I value authenticity, emotional safety, and meaningful connection in the therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from CBT, DBT, CPT, EMDR, and somatic and mindfulness-based practices. I focus on helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the nervous system are connected, especially in the context of trauma and anxiety. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced; we work together to develop emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and establish and strengthen boundaries and self-trust. I am both compassionate and direct, offering support while also helping clients move toward real, sustainable change. Sessions are tailored to your needs, goals, and readiness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down, feel heard, and begin building safety. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you are currently struggling with, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your history, stressors, and strengths, while ensuring the session does not feel overwhelming. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and gentle guidance on what therapy might look like moving forward. By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, increased understanding of their symptoms, and reassurance that they are not alone.
