Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Jaime. Are the demands of every day having an impact on your mental health? Is it feeling harder and harder to manage the emotions that are coming to the surface? Maybe you find it difficult to identify your needs and navigate how to have those needs met. Welcome to the club! It would be a natural desire to seek out someone who can offer insight and support into making healthy change. Taking steps toward supporting your emotional wellness is the beginning of this journey so you are off to a wonderful start! My experience for many years has been in pairing with people in all stages of life, oftentimes in their most heightened experiences of depression, anxiety and frustration. Working together in a relational dynamic, we can begin to sort out what is occurring and discuss ways to move forward. We will use a multidimensional approach to find what works for you as an individual. I believe wholeheartedly in addressing the entire person and find there are a variety of ways to do so including openness to learning, art, mindfulness, yoga, and other holistic ways of healing. I am an extremely down-to-earth provider and look forward to working with you in a supportive yet direct manner. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where we will work to get you closer to your goals. Hope to meet you soon!

My approach to therapy

My greatest strengths in my work are encouraging self-empowerment, problem solving, planning/strategizing, and psychoeducation. I have worked in many settings (i.e. schools, community outreach, outpatient clinics, crisis services and hospitals. What I have learned in every milieu is that YOU are the person who will make therapy have results. I respect the individual and all aspects of who they are and this comes through in my sessions.

I enjoy working with people who are motivated for change but are patient in the process of healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together we will review your intake information. Through conversation and rapport building we will identify what brings you to therapy and a general idea of your personal goals.
