Great to meet you!

I earned my Masters degree in Counseling from East Carolina University in 2011 and have been working in the counseling field ever since. Much of my experience is with teens and young adults, though I welcome clients of any age who are motivated to grow. My approach is supportive, open-minded, and focused on helping people to become the best version of themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, friendly, and client-driven, creating a space where people feel comfortable being open and honest. I work collaboratively with clients, using a flexible approach that may include supportive, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral strategies. My goal is to help each person build insight, develop practical tools, and move towards becoming their best self.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session focusing on getting to know each other and discussing intake questions to better understand your background, concerns, and what brought you to therapy. We'll begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship where you feel heard and supported. Together, we'll also start identifying goals so you can begin to see clear progress in the areas that matter most to you.
