I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating emotional, relational, or behavioral challenges who want a place to be honest about what they are experiencing and feel understood in the process. I believe we are created for connection and that no one is meant to struggle alone. As a Christian, I also enjoy incorporating faith and biblical principles into counseling for clients who desire that approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and relational. I primarily use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, gently challenge beliefs, and build healthier ways of thinking and coping. We also explore how past experiences shape current emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns, with a focus on meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it is normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable while learning more about your concerns, experiences, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

Together, we will begin identifying goals and gaining clarity around what has been most difficult. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
