Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), I am passionate about supporting adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s most complex challenges. My ideal clients are individuals who may be struggling with the effects of trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or other circumstances that have made it difficult to feel balanced, hopeful, or connected.

I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma or adversity and may be navigating the emotional, behavioral, and relational impact of those experiences. I also support individuals affected by substance use, including those who are seeking recovery, working to maintain sobriety, or trying to understand how substance use has affected their relationships and overall well-being.

I focus on meeting clients where they are and work collaboratively with them to identify their strengths, needs, and goals. I believe that meaningful progress begins with building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences and develop new ways of coping.

My approach to therapy

I recognize that many clients face challenges that extend beyond their individual circumstances. Financial stress, family dynamics, community resources, legal or systemic barriers, and other social determinants of health can significantly impact mental and emotional well-being. My approach is therefore holistic and focused on understanding the whole person rather than simply focusing on a diagnosis or presenting problem.

Through a compassionate, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, we help clients develop practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, strengthen coping skills, build confidence, and navigate challenging circumstances. When substance use is part of the picture, I support clients in exploring the underlying factors contributing to their use while helping them develop healthier strategies and work toward their recovery goals.

I also recognize that healing does not happen in isolation. When appropriate, I help clients identify community resources, strengthen their support systems, and navigate barriers that may affect their ability to thrive.

Ultimately, my goal is to help each client move from simply surviving to feeling more empowered, confident, and capable of creating the life they want. I walk alongside our clients as they discover their strengths, process their experiences, and take meaningful steps toward healing and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients often come to my practice when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward. Some may be experiencing a recent crisis or major life transition, while others may have been carrying unresolved experiences and emotions for years.

They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, substance use, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, family conflict, or difficulty managing emotions. Adolescents may present with behavioral changes, academic difficulties, social challenges, anxiety, depression, or difficulty communicating their needs.

For many clients, reaching out for therapy is an important first step toward understanding themselves, breaking unhealthy patterns, and creating meaningful change. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental.
