As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twelve years of clinical experience and 15+ years of working in the field of mental health, I am dedicated towards serving those in need of behavioral health services.

My experiences working with individuals dealing with behavioral health challenges range from ages four to ninety-nine, but I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. The majority of my career has been spent working in the roles of outpatient community-based therapist, school social worker, school-based therapist, and senior center-based provider.

Clinically, I have been trained to use a variety of behavioral health treatment modalities including dialectal behavioral skills, motivational interviewing, strength-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to name a few. I am open-minded, consistent, friendly, and problem-solving oriented. These treatment approaches were developed while working towards acquiring my license in clinical social work (LCSW-C), along with the continuing educational requirements biannually to maintain professional licensure.

Our first two sessions would be focused on assessment and goal setting primarily. An example of an objective may be behavioral activation, i.e., prioritizing certain action steps increase internal motivation.
