Great to meet you!

I have been providing mental health treatment for over thirty years. I have worked in a variety of settings to include local outpatient mental health centers, childrens group homes, therapeutic foster parenting, substance abuse treatment centers to include outpatient and detox, Worked in emergency rooms providing psychiatric exams, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. Been in private practice for myself for over three years now.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy starts at the time of the first session which is an assessment. I am proficient in multiple treatment modalities. Which type of treatment modality we use will be based on the initial assessment.

What you can expect from me

This is usually an introduction session where you will be allowed to ask questions. It will also allow me to ask questions to get a history and current reasons why you are coming to counseling in the form of an assessment.
