Great to meet you!

As a seasoned and friendly counselor with over twenty years of experience, I hold an M.A. from Sonoma State University. My deeply rooted approach is informed by a lifelong study of mindfulness and meditation across India, Europe, and the California Bay Area. To bridge traditional wisdom with contemporary psychology, I have completed specialized training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered around creating a warm, friendly and safe space for you to explore your concerns and issues. I aim to support you in tapping into your strengths and innate wisdom while developing skills in self-awareness, attention, self-regulation and fostering self-esteem, empathy and compassion.

What you can expect from me

"You can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental relationship with me, where we work together to achieve your personal growth and healing goals. During our first session, we'll go at your pace as we discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to share everything right away—this hour is about building a foundation of trust. I'm committed to providing a supportive and trustworthy environment, allowing you to feel comfortable and secure throughout our therapy sessions."
