Great to meet you!

Have you ever felt like you're having the same conversations, making the same choices, or facing the same emotional struggles over and over again? Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or finding it difficult to manage anger or overwhelming emotions, it can feel frustrating when old patterns keep getting in the way of the life you want. The good news is that meaningful change is possible, and you don't have to figure it out alone. I provide virtual therapy for children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, and families, helping people navigate anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and anger management while also supporting panic disorders, substance use, addiction recovery, ADHD, OCD, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, parenting challenges, life transitions, cultural concerns, and women's issues. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

My approach to therapy

I believe lasting growth happens when we understand the patterns that have shaped our lives and begin replacing them with healthier ways of thinking, communicating, and responding to challenges. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, and emotions influencing your current situation while developing practical skills that support meaningful, long-term progress. You may have come to therapy because of anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or difficulty managing anger, only to realize those experiences are affecting your confidence, family life, communication, parenting, or ability to cope with everyday stress. Panic, trauma, substance use, ADHD, OCD, grief, and major life transitions often become part of that story as well. Rather than treating each concern separately, we'll explore how they're connected so we can create meaningful change that improves your overall wellbeing, not just one area of your life. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reshape unhelpful thought patterns, Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to strengthen communication and rebuild trust in relationships, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to increase psychological flexibility, Dialectical Behavior Therapy to improve emotional regulation, Solution Focused Brief Therapy to identify practical next steps, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and family systems approaches to strengthen family relationships, or play therapy techniques when working with children and adolescents.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out before your first session. During our first few appointments, we'll take time to understand your story, identify the changes you hope to make, and create goals that reflect the life and relationships you want to build. As we continue working together, you'll have a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment, celebrate progress, work through setbacks with honesty and compassion, and develop practical tools that continue supporting you long after therapy ends. I'll meet you with warmth, respect, and decades of clinical experience while encouraging you to recognize the strengths you already possess. My hope is that you'll leave therapy with healthier relationships, greater emotional resilience, stronger confidence, and the belief that lasting change is possible one intentional step at a time. Whenever you're ready, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.
