Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience as a therapist. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northeastern State University and have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including school-aged children, adults, and those receiving end-of-life care. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing addiction and trauma, while also supporting anyone who may be struggling with the challenges of daily life. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives..

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where every individual feels comfortable being themselves and sharing their experiences. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each person’s unique needs, using evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to meet clients where they are, build on their strengths, and provide the support and tools they need to navigate challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. We will spend time getting to know you, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying the concerns, goals, and changes you would like to work toward. I will listen to your experiences, strengths, and challenges without judgment and work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that fits your individual needs. Most importantly, the first session is about building a trusting therapeutic relationship and helping you feel supported as we begin your journey together.
