Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate, solution-oriented therapist with 19 years of experience helping people navigate challenges, build insight, and move toward meaningful change. As a veteran, I have a deep appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of those who have served, and I especially enjoy working with veterans and their families.

My approach is grounded in talk therapy and genuine human connection. I take time to understand each patient as a whole person—not just the problem that brought them to therapy. I believe people often carry valuable insight and the beginnings of a solution within themselves. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help uncover the strengths, perspectives, and possibilities that can support their next steps.

While I have extensive experience working with individuals affected by addiction, I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and concerns. Together, we can identify practical, meaningful ways to create progress and help you feel more grounded, capable, and connected to the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I use talk therapy to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I take time to understand your experiences on a personal level and work with you to identify the patterns, strengths, and goals that matter most.

I believe you already hold important insight and the potential for meaningful change within yourself. My role is to help you uncover those solutions through thoughtful questions, honest conversation, and practical reflection. Together, we can build on your strengths, develop a clearer path forward, and create progress that feels meaningful and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be exploratory and collaborative. I’ll take time to listen to what brings you to therapy, learn more about your experiences, and begin to understand the underlying or root concerns that may be affecting you. You’ll have space to share at your own pace in a compassionate, judgment-free environment.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discussing what may be most helpful moving forward. By the end of the session, we’ll work toward a clearer understanding of your needs and start building a treatment plan with practical next steps that feel appropriate for you.
