Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring over 12 years of diverse nursing experience to my practice, including emergency care, critical care, cardiology, and psychiatric emergency and acute care settings. Over the past two and a half years as a psychiatric provider, I have developed a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to mental health care, serving individuals across the lifespan—from early childhood through older adulthood.

Clients can expect a compassionate, respectful, and collaborative experience where they feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment. My clinical background allows me to approach mental health with a well-rounded perspective, recognizing the important connection between physical and emotional well-being. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where patients can openly discuss their concerns without judgment.

My approach to care is individualized and evidence-based, combining thoughtful medication management with education and supportive therapeutic techniques. I work closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, values, and unique life circumstances. Whether addressing acute concerns or managing chronic conditions, my focus is on promoting stability, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Patients can expect professionalism, clear communication, and a commitment to continuity of care. I strive to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to take an active role in their mental health journey while providing consistent support along the way.

My approach to therapy

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my focus is on building a strong, trusting relationship with every patient, offering a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they feel truly heard. I take a collaborative approach—working together with each person to craft a treatment plan that aligns with their values, goals, and lived experiences. I also prioritize continuity of care, ensuring that patients always have clear access to me, as well as follow-up resources. In short, my care is built on respect, patience, and a genuine belief in every patient’s capacity for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

"As your psychiatric provider, I want to give you a clear sense of what to expect during our initial interview. We'll start by building a safe, trusting environment, where you can share your concerns and your goals. I'll ask about your mental health history, current symptoms, and any medications or treatments you've tried. Then, we’ll discuss a plan for moving forward—whether that’s therapy, medications, or other support. This is a collaborative process, so your input is really important, and I’m here to support you every step of the way."
