Great to meet you!

Getting honest about what you are carrying can feel like the hardest and loneliest thing you have ever done. I work with adults, teens, and older adults who are navigating recovery, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, and the big life transitions that leave you feeling stuck. A lot of the people I see have been holding things together on the outside for a long time while quietly struggling underneath. Clients often tell me they finally feel heard and understood here, without any judgment.

My approach to therapy

Together, we start by making sense of the patterns that keep pulling you back, so change actually lasts instead of fading after a few good weeks. Having walked my own road through recovery, I understand the courage it takes to face hard truths and keep moving forward, and I bring that lived experience into our work. My focus is helping people in recovery from substance use, and those healing from trauma, build real coping skills, steadier relationships, and a stronger sense of who they are. This work tends to fit best if you are ready to be honest, even when it is uncomfortable, and want a partner who will meet you with compassion rather than shame.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. I will take time to understand your story, what is weighing on you now, and what you hope your life could look like, and together we will map out a few first goals that feel right for you. You will leave with a clearer sense of where we are headed and a little more hope than when you walked in. If any of this resonates, I would be glad to hear from you whenever you feel ready to take that next step.
