Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jamica Cobbs, a licensed clinical social worker. I am a graduate of Wayne State University (Detroit, MI). With my diverse professional background, I have gained many skills and perspectives relating to the treatment of depression, anxiety, life changes/adjustments and a general sense of unfulfillment. I enjoy helping clients reach their fullest potential.

My approach to therapy

Within my practice, I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety and "positive psychology" as I believe nurturing and highlighting an individual's strength can bring an overall increase in quality of life and fulfillment. I like to also describe my approach as eclectic and not a "one-size fits all" approach.

What you can expect from me

It is imperative to me to always offer a warm and inviting space for all clients. I take a patient-centered approach allowing you to decide our goals for treatment and I will assist in areas such as accountability, providing the necessary resources/tools, clinically based feedback and acknowledgement of progress made along the way. Let's work together!
