Great to meet you!

I bring over 11 years of behavioral health leadership experience, including senior clinical executive roles overseeing adolescent and family treatment programs, alongside my work as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I’m dually licensed in California and North Carolina, a BBS-Approved Clinical Supervisor, and an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I help train the next generation of clinicians.

My clinical approach is grounded in Family Consciousness, a framework I developed through my doctoral research to help individuals and families deepen closeness, heal relational wounds, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and identity. I work with individuals and families navigating life transitions, relationship strain, identity development, and the search for greater self-understanding and connection.

I believe therapy works best as a collaborative, honest, and deeply human process. Whether you’re working through a specific challenge or simply want to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to walk alongside you with clinical expertise and genuine care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through genuine connection — with yourself and with the people who matter most to you.

I draw on Family Consciousness, a framework I developed through my doctoral research, which centers on helping clients build closeness in their relationships by first reconnecting with their own sense of identity and purpose. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I look at the fuller picture: how your relationships, history, and sense of self all shape one another.

In session, you can expect a space that’s warm but direct — I’ll challenge you when it’s useful, but always with care. I integrate practical, evidence-informed tools with deeper exploratory work, meeting you where you are and adjusting the pace and focus to fit what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all model.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you leave therapy not just symptom-free, but more fully yourself — clearer on who you are, what you value, and how to show up in your relationships and your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is about building a foundation — not diving into a checklist.

We’ll start by talking through what brought you to therapy and what’s been going on in your life recently. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, your relationships, and how you’re experiencing things day to day, but this is a conversation, not an interrogation — you set the pace on how much you share.

I’ll also walk you through my approach, including how the Family Consciousness framework shapes our work together, and we’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of whether we’re a good fit, and we’ll start sketching out what our work together might look like going forward.

There’s no pressure to have it all figured out in one session. My goal is simply for you to leave feeling heard, and for us both to have a clear next step.
