Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Jamie and I've been a counselor for about a decade now. I specialize in toxic and abusive relationships. These relationships can be parental, romantic, or friends.

A little about me: I practice yoga and I am a Reiki Master. I like spending my days with my partner and our two boys, reading, and crocheting (very therapeutic!). I also enjoy hiking and traveling. I can't wait to get to know more about you and help you where you are in your journey.

My approach to therapy

I’m trained in quite a few therapies, but the most important thing is finding something that works for you. You’re an individual, so counseling will be tailored to what your specific needs are. The relationship between counselor and individual is key.I believe everyone has the power to promote change but sometimes we all need a little guidance. What an awesome step you’ve made. I know it took courage! I offer a non-judgmental atmosphere, because we're all people and we all have pasts.

What you can expect from me

I like to give in between session practice. Things and tools you can take with you to do outside of our sessions. As well as, a place to vent your frustrations. Venting and having someone listen can be so powerful! And I think sometimes we don't realize that.
