Great to meet you!

For over 20 years I have been in the counseling field working toward empowering others & providing resources to equip them in their journey. I have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (10555) for over 10 years.

MA Liberty University Professional Counseling/National Certified Counselor/Clinical Certified Trauma Professional Level II/Certified Trauma Resilience Practitioner- Clinical

My approach to therapy

There are too many in your life that want to "fix" you. Here we equip you so you will come out of counseling strengthened & equipped to not just face the future, but to embrace a fulfilling future. I am trained in EMDR, MB-CBT, TF-CBT, art therapy, and solution focused therapy. In my counseling sessions I primarily use a mindfulness based cognitive behavior approach that is integrated with existential therapy. These approaches will assist you in taking action in your own therapy.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect to feel at ease and understand we are working toward building a trusting therapeutic relationship. The goal is to process emotions, create healthy coping skills, gain awareness of others perspectives, and develop resiliency to foster healing. There will be times they feel challenged and at times uncomfortable. In these times we will work together to develop skills to equip you in healing and strengthening your resiliency.
