Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 30 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-in-environment approach that considers how past experiences, current stressors, and relationships shape emotional well-being. Drawing on my background in social work education and leadership, I offer a practical, collaborative, and developmentally informed style of therapy. I partner with clients to build insight, regulate stress responses, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change in a safe and supportive space.

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively and compassionately with clients, creating a supportive space where they feel understood, respected, and actively involved in their own healing. I help individuals navigate life stressors by exploring how emotional, relational, and environmental factors intersect with current challenges. Together, we build insight, strengthen coping and regulation skills, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience and meaningful change. My approach is strengths-based and tailored, honoring each client’s experiences while focusing on growth, stability, and long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

My goal for the first session is to help clients feel comfortable, safe, and truly heard. I focus on building trust, understanding what brings them to therapy, and learning about their strengths, concerns, and hopes for change. This session sets the foundation for a collaborative relationship where clients can begin sharing their story at their own pace, knowing they are supported and respected.
