Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and Michigan. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Social Work in 2021 and with my Master's in Social Work in 2023. Since 2018, I've supported adults through a variety of healthcare settings including older adults, adults with developmental disabilities, survivors of domestic violence and substance use, and adults living with serious mental illnesses.

I am currently accepting new clients with Saturday all day availability! I am seeking clients who often feel like their emotions are too much for other people. They struggle to speak up and feel confident in themselves. As a result, they keep a lot in and just try their best to put a smile on their face to keep going. Often they wonder if other people feel this way or they think that there is something wrong with them for having a big heart and caring too much in a world that seems scary and cruel. It may be difficult to feel connected to others and lonely. They're not sure if anyone really cares as much as they do.

My approach to therapy

I am here to walk alongside you at your pace and to learn more about your lived experience. I fully believe that you are the author of your own story and it would be my honor to guide you for as long as you need me to. I will approach your life journey with care, curiosity, collaboration, and openness. I can understand how challenging it can be to reach out and trust that someone can attempt to help you see and witness yourself fully. It is terrifying to meet all the different parts of yourself and to try to understand how you can connect with yourself and others. I look forward to watching you transform into who you've always dreamed of becoming.

What you can expect from me

In our first therapy session, I will help you learn the expectations of therapy and will spend most of the session getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. In my therapy sessions, you lead the way. Together, we will collaborate on your goals and apply skills as needed. I will support, guide, and challenge you along the way. The treatment types I use typically vary from learning emotional regulation skills, communication skills, mindfulness, and trauma processing. Usually by the second session, we collaborate on a treatment plan that will best suit your needs as you see fit.
