Great to meet you!
These are heavy times for Queer folks, people of color, and women. Add the weight of daily life, and it’s no wonder so many are feeling overwhelmed, angry, and exhausted.
If that’s you, you’re not alone.
I won’t dismiss your pain. I can have hard conversations.
Hurt and hope can coexist, ____________________
After graduating from Hunter College School of Social Work in 2008, I have held various roles. I've worked at HIV/AIDS clinics, a homeless shelter for LGBTQIA+ youth, and a homeless medical team where I continue to provide mental health and addiction services. I also have experience in community mental health, working with individuals living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma. These experiences have shaped me into an open-minded and nonjudgmental therapist.
