My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is empathetic, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I take time to listen attentively, understand each individual’s unique experiences, and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and overall well-being. I believe that meaningful progress begins with trust, open communication, and shared decision-making.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, and evidence-based psychotherapy. When prescribing medication, I thoroughly review the benefits, risks, and alternative options to ensure clients feel informed, confident, and empowered in their treatment decisions. I also incorporate psychoeducation and practical coping strategies to promote resilience, symptom stability, and long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a calm, supportive, and confidential environment where clients feel safe expressing their concerns openly and honestly. Establishing trust and rapport is an essential first step in the therapeutic process.

The initial session is a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and is typically more in-depth. This evaluation allows me to develop a thorough understanding of each client’s mental, emotional, and physical health history. During this session, we will discuss potential diagnoses, explore appropriate treatment options, establish both short- and long-term goals, and address any questions or concerns. My goal is to ensure clients feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care from the very beginning.
