Great to meet you!

I bring more than 30 years of experience in behavioral health and have worked with individuals, families, and communities across a variety of settings. My experience includes private practice, work with military service members and their families, and on-site crisis intervention. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on the challenges people face and the many different paths toward healing and growth.

I believe that every person brings a unique history, perspective, and set of strengths to therapy. I strive to create a relationship where you feel respected, understood, and comfortable being yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in understanding the whole person. I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to explore what is happening in your life, identify patterns that may be affecting your well-being, and develop greater insight and practical ways of moving forward.

I draw from a psychodynamic perspective while remaining open and responsive to each client's individual needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to your goals, experiences, and circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin developing a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you would like to be different, and the experiences that may be important to understanding your current concerns.

You will have space to share at your own pace, ask questions, and learn more about how I work. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and determining how our work can best support you moving forward.
