Great to meet you!

I specialize in children and adolescents with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. While I work with children as young as five years old, I have years of experience helping adolescents and their families in crisis. My other areas of expertise include: academic challenges, depression, anxiety, self-harm, substance abuse, domestic violence and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I view others through a holistic lens and will examine the various factors of a person's life and health that may be impacting their mental health. My approach in session is a psychodynamic, humanistic and relational approach. I will often use tools from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe awareness in identifying patterns of behavior is the first step towards change. I am always learning and growing my resources to better serve my clients.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions together, we will collaborate in order to establish goals to work towards over the course of treatment. My goal is to help guide you in the direction you want to be in. I believe that a therapist can encourage you to recognize your strengths so that you can use them to help you grow.
