Great to meet you!

It can be exhausting feeling like you have to explain, hide, or defend parts of who you are just to feel accepted. You may be navigating your gender or sexuality, carrying cultural or family expectations that conflict with the life you want, or feeling depressed and disconnected after years of putting everyone else’s comfort ahead of your own. For the past seven years, I’ve worked with people navigating identity, trauma, family conflict, relationships, and the stress that comes with trying to find where you belong. With me, you don’t have to shrink yourself or leave parts of your identity at the door.

My approach to therapy

Our conversations will be open, honest, and focused on what’s actually happening in your life. We might work through how family or cultural expectations affect your choices, how past experiences influence the way you see yourself, or how to set boundaries with people who don’t fully understand or accept your identity. I’ll help you question thoughts that keep you stuck while recognizing the strengths you already have and deciding what change looks like on your terms. There’s also room for humor because working through serious things doesn’t mean every conversation has to feel heavy.

What you can expect from me

You won’t need to spend your first session convincing me that your identity or experiences are valid. We’ll talk about what brought you in, whether that’s family tension, feeling disconnected from yourself, stress around coming out or transitioning, depression, cultural expectations, or something from your past that still affects you today. You can expect curiosity without judgment, honest conversation, and even some laughter when it feels right. Most importantly, we’ll start figuring out what you want to feel different in your life and how we can get there together.
