Great to meet you!

I’m an active, present therapist. I don’t just sit quietly — I’m in the work with you. My style is steady, honest, and compassionate. I listen closely to what you say, and also to the feelings, patterns, and pauses around it.

People who work with me often say they feel seen, grounded, and less alone. I bring structure when it’s helpful and spaciousness when you need to breathe. We’ll move at a pace that respects your nervous system and the reality of your life, not an idealized version of it.

I’m not here to judge or tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you understand yourself more clearly and support you as you grow into who you’re becoming.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we get curious about your story — how you learned to cope, what roles you’ve taken on over time, and what patterns keep repeating. We’ll explore how your past relationships and experiences still shape the way you relate to others and to yourself today.

I pay close attention to what happens between us in session, because therapy itself can be a living example of how you navigate closeness, conflict, trust, and vulnerability. That awareness often becomes a powerful source of insight and healing.

My approach is grounded, relational, and reflective. We focus on meaning, context, emotions, and the deeper “why” behind reactions and behaviors — always with compassion and respect for your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation, not an interview. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what life looks like for you right now, and what you’re hoping will feel different. There’s no pressure to have your story perfectly organized or to say everything at once.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you slow down enough to notice what’s coming up in the moment, and make sure you feel oriented to the therapy process. We’ll also check in about what you need from me as your therapist and what feels most important to focus on together.

Most people leave the first session with a bit more clarity and the sense that there is room here for their full, honest self.
