Great to meet you!

I’m Jasmine Turner, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who provides compassionate, person-centered, and evidence-based counseling in a collaborative, safe, and nonjudgmental environment. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, stress, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty understanding or expressing what they feel. I am also a faith-informed clinician and thoughtfully integrate spirituality into the therapeutic process when it aligns with your personal beliefs and preferences. My goal is to help you develop emotional awareness, build distress tolerance, strengthen resilience, and learn practical coping strategies that support long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you better understand both your past and present experiences. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. In session, this may look like exploring thought patterns that contribute to anxiety or depression, building emotional regulation skills, understanding relationship patterns, identifying values, processing past experiences, and creating practical steps toward change. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a calm, comfortable space where we can begin building rapport and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, identity concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, or emotional distress, we will begin identifying what kind of support feels most helpful for you. You will also have space to ask questions, share your comfort level, and get a sense of how we may work together. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and clearer about the next steps in your healing process.
