Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience working with adolescents, adults, and families across a range of clinical settings. My background includes individual and family therapy, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, trauma, and supporting people through major life transitions and periods of significant stress.

My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and understanding the broader context of your life. Our experiences, relationships, identities, and environments shape how we understand ourselves and how we move through the world. In therapy, we’ll look beyond what is happening in the moment to understand the patterns and experiences that may be contributing to where you are today.

I believe meaningful change comes from developing insight, strengthening your ability to navigate difficult experiences, and finding ways of moving forward that feel sustainable and authentic to you. Race, culture, identity, and lived experience are also welcome parts of our work together when they are important to understanding your experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, direct, and grounded in curiosity. I believe understanding why we think, feel, and respond the way we do is an important part of creating meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore patterns, relationships, past experiences, and the broader context of your life while also focusing on what can help you move forward.

I draw from trauma-informed, strengths-based, and evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to the individual rather than expecting one approach to work for everyone. I’m comfortable addressing complex emotions, relationship and family dynamics, trauma, identity, life transitions, and periods of increased stress. My goal is to balance insight with practical support so that what we work on in therapy is useful outside of the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin developing a shared understanding of what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, important experiences and relationships, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

We’ll begin identifying goals for therapy while leaving room for those goals to evolve as we learn more. My priority is creating an environment where you can be honest, ask questions, and feel comfortable being yourself without feeling pressured to share more than you’re ready for.
