Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Javana and I am a psychotherapist (LCSW-C). I earned my clinical degree (MSW) from Tulane University and my bachelor's (BSW) from the University of Vermont.

During sessions, we can collaboratively process feelings and emotions at a pace that feels safe and supportive while fostering healing and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based, holistic, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients better understand how anxiety, depression, and trauma can affect the mind and body. In sessions, we can explore how these experiences manifest, identify triggers that may be impacting your daily life, and develop healthy coping and self-regulation strategies.

In my work with children and adolescents, I incorporate play and art therapy interventions to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. These approaches help children feel comfortable expressing themselves while developing a positive relationship with therapy.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a space completely dedicated to you and your needs.
