Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jaymie Stovall, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Stovall Psychiatric Services, PLLC. My healthcare career spans more than 15 years and has included experience across critical care, inpatient medical, inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, memory care and academics. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in intensive care units and psychiatric settings throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the country, experiences that provided a strong clinical foundation and a deep appreciation for the connection between physical and mental health. In addition to clinical practice, I have served as an adjunct nursing instructor, helping educate future nurses in psychiatric and medical-surgical nursing.

My approach to therapy

My practice is grounded in evidence-based care, clinical precision, and a commitment to helping patients understand their neurobiology so they can make informed, empowered decisions about their mental and physical health. I use therapy-informed, collaborative approaches to understand patterns, stressors, goals, and the broader clinical picture. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively, taking into account your preferences, values, and overall health while prioritizing safety and evidence-based care. Focused on identifying and addressing the root cause. An integrated approach that considers mental and physical health, hormones, lifestyle patterns, nutrition, supplementation, pharmacogenetic insights when appropriate, laboratory data, collaboration with other specialties, sleep, daily habits, and more.

What you can expect from me

A 60–120 minute appointment (sometimes over multiple visits) to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. Diagnosis evolves over time as we gather more information and monitor your response to treatment. Visits may include supportive therapy, education, lifestyle guidance, and medication management when appropriate. Labs or coordination with other providers may be recommended to ensure safe, comprehensive care. Nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, and optional evidence-informed supplements may be discussed when clinically appropriate. All treatment choices consider your preferences, values, and safety.
