Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families in both school-based and private practice settings. I have specialized training in child-centered play therapy and am currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

I specialize in supporting children and adolescents navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, trauma, school stress, family conflict, and major life transitions such as divorce or caregiver changes. I also support young adults and parents experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and parenting-related challenges.

I have experience using engaging virtual therapy interventions and play-based approaches to help children feel comfortable, connected, and actively involved in the therapeutic process, even in telehealth settings. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients and families feel safe, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines child-centered play therapy, CBT-based strategies, and supportive relational therapy techniques. With children and teens, I incorporate creativity, play, and engaging virtual interventions to help clients express emotions, build coping skills, and gain confidence navigating challenges.

For adolescents and young adults, I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and navigate important life transitions while building practical tools for emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming and supportive first session focused on getting to know one another, discussing current concerns, and exploring goals for therapy. I aim to create a comfortable space where clients and families feel heard without pressure or judgment.

For younger clients, the first session may include play-based activities, conversation, and building rapport in a developmentally appropriate way. For teens and young adults, sessions are typically more conversational while still focusing on creating a safe, collaborative foundation for future work together.
