Great to meet you!
Hello! My name is Jazmine (Jazzy), and I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on helping you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
I earned my Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. I have experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families across outpatient, school-based, and community settings.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, identity development, stress, and trauma-related concerns. I am particularly passionate about helping clients understand themselves within the context of their relationships, families, and environments. Whether you are experiencing a major transition, struggling to manage overwhelming emotions, navigating relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide an opportunity to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself.
My goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while also recognizing your strengths and capacity for growth. We will work together to identify what matters most to you and develop practical tools and insights that support meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but creating space to better understand yourself and move toward the life and relationships you want.
