Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but therapy doesn't have to be intimidating. I believe that healing happens through authentic connection, honest conversations, and a little humor along the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also feeling supported and challenged to grow.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have specialized experience treating trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health concerns, and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also enjoy working with neurodivergent clients and strive to provide affirming, individualized care that honors each person's unique strengths and needs.

Clients often describe me as direct, genuine, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should be engaging. It is not just a place to process difficult emotions, but also a space where you can build insight, learn practical skills, celebrate progress, and even laugh when the moment calls for it. Growth can be challenging, but it can also be empowering and meaningful.

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion, honesty, and a collaborative approach, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all treatment. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to tailor therapy to each client's goals, experiences, and personality. Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or substance use, we'll work together to find strategies that fit you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions—excitement, nervousness, uncertainty, or even skepticism. Whatever you're feeling, you're welcome to show up exactly as you are.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you're hoping to gain from the process. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is important, and I encourage open, honest conversations from the very beginning.

By the end of our first session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll work together at a pace that feels both supportive and productive.
