Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Counselor as well as an Occupational Therapist and will bring ideas from both into my work with you! I work very hard to establish a warm, safe, and inviting environment where you can feel comfortable opening up. It is important that you feel heard. I will often assign "homework" for you to complete between sessions. These tasks are important to progress faster towards the goals that we will set together. Therapy really is best done with us working together as a team!

My approach to therapy

I like to tailor my approach individually to the person that I'm working with. Because of this, we can use techniques from many different theoretical approaches to find what works best to bring you closer to your goals. I think it's important to empower you in your daily life to reach YOUR goals.

What you can expect from me

During our sessions together, you will have the opportunity to safely explore your thoughts and feelings, you will learn new ways to cope with the stressors in your life and improve your communication skills. I know the first session can be nerve-wracking, but I hope that by the end of it, we will have gotten to know each other a bit and that you feel more comfortable talking.
