Great to meet you!

I work with women in their 20s and 30s who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, or that overwhelming sense that life should feel more manageable by now. A lot of my clients have tried therapy before and felt like it wasn't clicking, like they were spinning their wheels. That's exactly the kind of stuck I help with.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR as my primary tools, and I tailor how I use them based on what you actually need. CBT helps you identify the thought patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck and gives you concrete ways to shift them. EMDR works at a deeper level, helping your nervous system process experiences that talking alone does not always reach.

My overall approach is collaborative and direct. I will not sit quietly and nod for fifty minutes. I will ask questions, offer observations, and sometimes push back gently if I think something is worth looking at more closely. I take the work seriously, and I expect us to be working toward something together, not just checking in week after week.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an intake form read aloud. I want to understand what is bringing you in, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping changes. I will ask about your history, your current life, and what has felt hard, but I will not rush through a checklist.

By the end of our first session you should have a sense of who I am, how I work, and whether it feels like a good fit. You will also leave with at least a loose sense of direction, some idea of what we might focus on and how we might get there. I do not believe in keeping the plan a mystery. Therapy works better when you know what we are doing and why.
