Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jeannette. I’m a therapist who works with individuals navigating trauma and stress-related challenges, and I’m licensed in Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri so I can support people across multiple communities.

Many of the people I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense to them. You might notice your stress showing up as anxiety, difficulty relaxing, irritability, trouble sleeping, or feeling constantly on edge. Sometimes it can feel like your body is reacting before your mind has a chance to catch up. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and it’s something we can work through together.

A big part of our work is helping you build awareness around your triggers. Triggers are the internal or external cues that activate a stress response, often without warning. Once we understand what sets those reactions in motion, we can begin to slow things down and create space for choice instead of automatic response. From there, we focus on developing practical, effective ways to calm your nervous system so you can feel more grounded, steady, and in control.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in real-life application. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy. Together, we’ll take time to understand your experiences, your strengths, and the resources you already have available to you. We’ll also identify new skills and strategies that align with who you are and what you need. This might include learning how to regulate emotional responses, shift unhelpful thought patterns, or build healthier coping strategies that actually work in your day-to-day life.

We’ll also spend time looking at what a more satisfying and meaningful life could look like for you. That might mean feeling more at ease in your body, improving your relationships, increasing your sense of confidence, or simply having more moments where you feel present and able to enjoy your life. Therapy isn’t just about reducing stress—it’s about creating space for growth, connection, and experiences that feel fulfilling and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and supportive, where you can show up as you are without pressure or expectation. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. We’ll take things at your pace and work together to build something that feels sustainable and meaningful for you.

If you’re ready to better understand your stress, feel more in control of your reactions, and move toward a more grounded and satisfying life, I’d be glad to support you in that process.
