Great to meet you!

My journey to becoming a counselor grew out of my love for music and education, both of which inspired my passion for helping others find their voice and confidence. I earned my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and my German Shepherd, Rocco. I also love teaching piano, voice, and theatre, as well as traveling, gardening, cooking, and listening to music.

My approach to therapy

I take a flexible, person-centered approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring our work to their unique goals and experiences. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I adapt my approach to best support each individual’s needs. My areas of focus include ADHD, college mental health, life transitions, anxiety, and depression in children, adolescents, and adults.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. You’ll have space to share your story and talk about what you’d like to accomplish in therapy. I do my best to make our time together feel comfortable and welcoming, so you can feel safe being open and honest. From there, we’ll work together to help you move toward the changes you want to see.
