Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Psychologist with a decade of training and experience who is passionate about mental health. I provide individual therapy for adults with a wide variety of concerns, particularly specializing in anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and relationship concerns. I know that reaching out for therapy can be a vulnerable and daunting experience. I hope you are giving yourself credit for taking this first step.

My approach to therapy

I tend to work particularly well with clients who struggle with being compassionate towards themselves and have spent much of their life focused on what others expect of them, getting further away from their own inner voice. My aim is to help clients discover and embrace their authentic selves so they can pursue what they truly value in life. I believe strongly in the great Carl Rogers quote: "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

What you can expect from me

I see therapy as a collaborative experience that is not one-size-fits-all. I work with you to identify your goals for therapy and determine what approach will be most helpful for you. I integrate multiple theories in my work and pull mainly from humanistic, relational, and mindfulness and acceptance based therapies. I am excited to get to know you as an individual and figure out what approach to therapy will best fit your unique needs.
