Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I bring extensive experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach is warm, energetic, and compassionate, while also allowing room for humor and genuine connection. I strive to meet each client where they currently are mentally, build on their strengths, and work collaboratively toward meaningful change. I believe that even during life’s most difficult moments, a little laughter, encouragement, and a nonjudgmental listening ear can go a long way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. I believe every client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, strengths, experiences, and goals while using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

I have experience working with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness and understand the importance of meeting clients where they are, building trust, and celebrating progress along the way. I bring a balance of compassion, honesty, energy, and humor to my work.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where they can begin to feel comfortable being themselves. We will take time to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your current concerns, strengths, and goals for treatment.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, so we will collaborate on a treatment approach that fits your individual needs. There is no pressure to share everything at once—you are encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and to you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the therapeutic process and relationship that we will continue to build.
