Great to meet you!

HI! I'm Jeffrey Frye, a licensed therapist working with North Carolina clients as a North Carolina licensed LCMHC (licensed clinical mental health counselor.) I refer to myself as a therapist. I have many applied years and extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, and trauma, as well as those managing panic attacks, social anxiety, and anger. I have expertise and great interest in supporting LGBTQ+ clients and bringing an affirming, non-religious, non-judgmental, and progressive perspective to my work.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on helping you seek to learn about yourself, using clinically evidence-based tools to bring you through to a place where your reach your treatment goals while we work together collaboratively.

What you can expect from me

I believe in meeting you where you are with compassion and authenticity. Whether you're navigating life transitions or deeper emotional struggles, I'm here to help you define your needs from therapeutic interaction, and collaboratively will walk alongside you from the first moment we meet on Headway. Taking the step to seek therapy is meaningful, and decisive on your part, and I'm honored to support your journey.
