Great to meet you!

Great to meet you. I am Dr Jemima, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP-BC), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking behavior help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 35 years, but in the last decade, focused on providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to all age groups.

My approach to therapy

Behavior health management is a Therapeutic Journey. I'm well-versed in traditional therapeutic techniques as well as evidence-based medication management to ensure my patients receive the most thorough level of care. Everyone deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you and support you

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Through telepsychiatry sessions, we'll develop a comprehensive treatment plan and you'll gain coping strategies and feel empowered to take control of your mental health. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and optimistic - with clarity and personalized strategies to live your best life. I'm looking forward to working with you!
